Meet The Team

Executive Director
Misty Graham-Stapleton
Misty joined the Child Advocacy Center in March 2025, bringing 36 years of nonprofit experience working with children and youth. She leads our outreach and education efforts, helping raise awareness about the signs of child abuse and the importance of prevention. Misty also works directly with community and church groups to strengthen child protection through presentations and trainings.
Before joining the CAC, Misty served as Program Director for Girls Inc. of Hamblen County. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Carson-Newman College and has completed specialized trainings in Adverse Childhood Experiences and Youth Mental Health First Aid.

Assistant Director
Daphne Reyes
Daphne Reyes serves as the Assistant Director, supporting the Executive Director and guiding the CAC’s marketing and branding efforts. She manages the organization’s social media and marketing strategy, bringing creativity and focus to how we connect with the community. Daphne created the CAC’s new logo, oversees the development of our website, and helps shape the organization’s overall image. She also assists with data entry that keeps our CPIT meetings running smoothly.
Daphne holds associate degrees in Mass Communications and Business, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Spanish from Carson-Newman University. With a background in nonprofit marketing, she brings valuable experience in connecting missions to the communities they serve. Her passion lies in using storytelling, design, and outreach to grow the CAC’s impact and visibility across the region.

Therapist
Neta Gross
Neta Gross provides therapy services at the CAC through a partnership with Frontier Health, bringing over 37 years of experience in community mental health. She holds a master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mental Health Service Provider, and clinical supervisor.
Throughout her career, Neta has worked in a variety of roles, including Therapeutic Nursery, Family Preservation, and Outpatient Therapy. She spent 27 years as a Child Development Specialist and Coordinator with Project B.A.S.I.C., collaborating with schools and mental health agencies across the state.
Neta is certified in evidence-based trauma treatment models TF-CBT and ARC and has been providing therapy to children and youth since 2003. She is also a Building Strong Brains Trainer, a National Pyramid Model Trainer, and an expert trainer for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Family Advocate
Donna Case
Donna Case serves as the Family Advocate at the Child Advocacy Center, where she helps families understand what to expect during DCS and law enforcement investigations, offering guidance, support, and a steady presence every step of the way. Donna also connects families with local resources, assesses their needs, and ensures they receive the services and support systems necessary for healing and stability.
Donna holds an associate degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW). She brings a strong background in family and child services, with nearly eight years at the Department of Children’s Services, a year at the health department coordinating maternity and child care, and almost six years in the school system working in student services.
Her compassionate approach and extensive experience make her a vital part of our team and a trusted advocate for the families we serve.

Forensic Interviewer
Heather Parker
​Heather Parker serves as the Forensic Interviewer at the Child Advocacy Center, where she provides a safe, neutral space for children to share their experiences as part of the investigative process.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with cognates in Psychology and Social Science, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Justice and Security Administration and is a member of Delta Mu Delta (Lambda Sigma Chapter), an international honor society in business.
Her diverse professional background includes working in inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment for both juveniles and adults, serving as a probation officer, working in hospital billing, and managing a local coffee shop. Heather’s wide range of experiences brings valuable perspective and professionalism to her role in supporting children and families through difficult situations.
